Chatspin is a random video chat service that helps adults meet people live from around the world.

Basic random chat is free for adults 18+. Optional paid upgrades, including Chatspin Plus, add extra features and filters.

Chatspin may be available in multiple languages. Use the language selector, where available, to choose your preferred language.

Yes, absolutely! Chatspin is available to download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store for Android and Apple devices. Our web browser app also works seamlessly on most portable devices for those with other mobile operating systems.

You need an internet connection. Video chat requires a working camera and microphone, while text chat may be available without turning on a camera.

Getting started is extremely simple. Just choose your gender – male, female, or couple – and click “Start Chatting”. Be sure to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to connect to the video chat platform.

It is understandable if you are shy at first but you can still enjoy Chatspin until you are confident enough to display your webcam. After connecting to the platform you will see a request to access your webcam. If you do not wish to display your video, just click on the “Start Text Chat” button.

No problem! If you decide to start showing your webcam just click “Enable Camera” on the large box at the top of your screen. Your web browser will request access to your webcam which will allow you to start video chatting right away!

Absolutely! The text chat is always available to the right of the video broadcasts and is displayed to both you and the person you are connected with. If you wish to use voice chat also, just connect your microphone and turn up your speakers!

To make a new connection just click on the arrow/next button and you will instantly connect with a new random stranger.

Chatspin does not require you to show a public profile for basic chat. Do not share your real name, address, phone number, email, payment details, or other personal information with other users.

If you want to take a break just click on the stop button at the bottom of your screen. This will disconnect you from the video chat until you are ready to start chatting again.

Please ensure you have chosen your gender and agreed to the Terms and Privacy Policy before connecting to the video chat platform. If the video chat is loading slowly, please check your internet connection.

This issue is usually caused by an internet browser issue. Try reconnecting to Chatspin using a different web browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

This issue is likely caused by a proxy or VPN. If you are using either, our system will assume you are connecting from that country and display the language and location as such. To fix this, stop your proxy or VPN before connecting to Chatspin.

If you cannot hear anything please ensure your speakers are not turned down low or completely off. You can also check the in-chat volume settings by hovering over your connections video stream and clicking the volume icon in the top right of their broadcast.

Please ensure that your face is fully in frame and you are facing the webcam straight on. If there are two or more people in the video, the A/R Face Filters may not work properly.

Enjoying the fun Face Filters is simple! Just click on the mask icon at the bottom of the video chat platform and choose from our wide selection of filters. Ensure your face is fully in frame so our systems can apply the filter you choose.

We have a broad range of emoji’s to liven up your text chat. To use them, simply click on the smiley face beside the send button and choose the emoji you want to use!

Where available, Chatspin may show general location indicators during matching or chat. Location visibility can vary by feature, setting, and availability.

If you want to limit your connections to people of a specific gender, simply use the gender symbol icon located at the top of your video chat. Here you can choose to connect with males only, females only, couples only, or everyone.

If you want to only meet people from a certain country then click on the globe icon at the top of your chat. Here you will see a long list of countries with the number of people currently active from that country listed next to the country name. Just click on the country you want to connect with and you will only meet people from that place!

If you want to mute your microphone while chatting just click on the speaker icon at the bottom of your screen. You can also adjust the volume of your microphone using this icon.

Currently this is not an option, however, we are working on adding this feature in the near future.
